Delete your Lincat account or Facebook Login data
You can request deletion of your Lincat account and associated personal data, including information received through Facebook Login. You do not need an active Facebook connection to submit a request.
Option 1: Delete your account from Lincat
1. Sign in to your Lincat account at https://lincat.co.
2. Open your account Settings and look for the account deletion option.
3. Read the confirmation carefully and complete the requested steps only if you want to delete the account.
If you cannot sign in or cannot find the option, use Option 2 below.
Option 2: Request deletion through our contact form
1. Visit https://lincat.co/contact.
2. Use the subject “Data deletion request”, or include that phrase at the start of your message if there is no subject field.
3. Provide the email address associated with your Lincat account and state whether you want to delete the entire account or only information received through Facebook Login.
4. If you used Facebook Login and do not know the account email, provide your Lincat username or public bio-page address and explain that you signed in through Facebook.
We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership and clarify the request. Never send your password, one-time codes or Facebook access tokens. We will respond through the contact details you provide to confirm the request or explain any additional steps needed.
Remove Lincat from Facebook
In your Facebook account, open Settings and find Apps and websites. Select Lincat and choose Remove, following Facebook's on-screen instructions. Labels may vary by device. This disconnects the app from Facebook; it does not by itself delete data already stored by Lincat. Use one of the options above to request that deletion.
What deletion affects
Deleting your Lincat account can remove access to your links, QR codes, bio pages, uploaded content and activity reports. Links or QR codes that depend on the account may stop working. Save any information you need before confirming deletion. A request limited to Facebook data may affect your ability to sign in through Facebook; arrange another sign-in method or contact us before disconnecting if needed.
Retention exceptions
Some information may need to be retained for applicable recordkeeping obligations, security investigations, fraud prevention or dispute resolution. Backup copies may remain until their normal replacement cycle. If an exception affects your request, we will explain it when responding. Data held independently by Facebook, payment providers or external websites is governed by their own policies and must be requested from those providers separately.
